How it works

Extend Video adds new seconds after your clip, or before it, from a prompt, and joins them to your original. Wan 2.7 adds 2–10 s after the clip at 720p or 1080p, with sound, and can end on an image you choose. Seedance 2.0 adds 4–15 s after or before it at 480p, 720p or 1080p, with sound. VACE adds 4, 8, 12 or 16 s after or before it at 480p or 720p, without sound.

The new part is joined to your original clip, never to the model's copy of it, in one encode at most. Your original keeps its own sound. The new seconds are made by AI and may not match your clip perfectly: watch the join. Your original stays in your library, unchanged.

VACE makes video at 16 frames a second, so motion may look less smooth than your original. For smooth motion, use Wan 2.7 or Seedance 2.0.
