Rig and AnimateComing soon

Rig your humanoid or four-legged model, then animate it with library motions, a walk, simple motions or Motion Composer. Every animation comes with GLB, FBX, USDZ and an MP4.

Rig and Animate is coming soon.

How Brookwake 3D works
  • What works best: one object, seen whole, on a plain background, in even light. The background is removed for free first, and you check the cut-out before the 3D step. If your photo already has a transparent background, choose “Use my image as it is”.
  • Multiple photos (Beta): use 2 to 4 photos of the same object from different sides (front, side, back), with the same lighting and a plain background. Don't mix different objects. The first photo is the main view. Results can vary.
  • Quality: Draft (quick draft, least detail), Standard (faster, a little less detail), High (highest detail). The price is shown on the button before you generate.
  • Downloads: GLB, USDZ, OBJ (.zip), STL. GLB works in most apps and on the web; USDZ is for iPhone and iPad; OBJ comes as a zip with its material and texture. STL has no colours or textures. Scale it in your slicer. Not checked for 3D printing.
  • Turntable video: a 10-second 1080p video of one full turn, square or wide, with the lighting and background you chose in the viewer. It's saved to your library as a video, so you can use it in Motion or share it.
  • Rig and Animate: rig a humanoid (people, robots and figures on two legs, with two arms) or a four-legged animal, then animate it. Choose the body type that matches the model; anything else gets simple motions, with no rig. A model is rigged once, and every animation reuses its rig.
  • Your own GLB: files up to 100 MB, with no Draco or meshopt compression and everything inside the file. Only upload 3D models you made or have the right to use. The check removes any rig, animation, morph targets, cameras and lights, so Brookwake can rig it fresh, and simplifies a model over 300,000 faces. Then turn the model so its front faces you; the rig uses that front.
  • Motions: the motion library has walks, runs, everyday moves, fighting moves, dances and more, for humanoids, each reviewed before it is added. Four-legged models get the animal walk, in place or forward. Simple motions (sway, bounce, spin, hover) work on any model.
  • Motion Composer (Beta): describe a motion in words and it is built from the library, 2–10 s long, with smooth joins and an optional path. It can only use moves the library has, and tells you before anything is made if part of your description doesn't match. You see the plan, and both prices, before Compose.
  • Animation downloads: animated GLB for the web and most apps, FBX for Blender, Unity and Unreal, USDZ for iPhone and iPad, and an MP4 video of every animation. A rigged model also downloads as a rigged GLB or FBX with no animation.
  • Motion credits: Motion data from mocap.cs.cmu.edu. The database was created with funding from NSF EIA-0196217. The 100STYLE Dataset - Ian Mason (CC BY 4.0, https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/), retargeted, trimmed and resampled by Brookwake. Motion made with NVIDIA Kimodo. Kimodo is licensed by NVIDIA Corporation under the NVIDIA Open Model License. Animations made with Brookwake's motion library are yours to use in your projects. You may not resell or share the motion on its own, for example as motion-capture files.
  • Premium through MCP: your own AI assistant can make, check, export, rig and animate 3D models for the same credits as here. Planning a Motion Composer motion with your own AI costs 0 ✦.
